can I use second hand software legally?

I work in a computer centre owned by a charity so money is tight. We want to run introduction to photoshop classes but as this is such an expensive programme, were wondering if a second hand copy would be legal to use?

usualy, yes, IF (and only if) you have the ORIGINAL disk and not a copy.

And the person you got it from as not got a copy or running the software. You must also have the key to load the program, Not all ask for one

I can't help with photoshop, but have you considered doing classes in PhotoPlus ? Version 5.5 Is free, so would be of interest to anybody on a tight budget.
