Can I increase font size beyond 72 in MSWord

  TommyRed 20:08 02 Mar 2005

I want to make a sign on A4 paper but would like letters larger than the 72 size MSWord goes up to, is this possible. OS is XP using MSOffice 2000. TIA TR

Yes, there are 2 ways, the first is to just type in the size you want, if known, and the second is to use Ctrl+], this second approach will increase the pixel size by 1 point at a time.

To decrease 1 pixel at a time use Ctrl+[

Instead of using the drop down box, type the size in.
Font types also show at different sizes. Try a different font.

I just tried this and got a font size of 200 for TNR

Thanks to both of you, TR

To make it as big as you can possibly want - click Format then select font, from here you can type in whatever size font you require. One letter per page if you wanted!
