Can I disable Netgear Smart Wizard page from appearing?

Using Netgear software, I have recently installed a Netgear WG511 v2 USB Adapter (dongle) on my spare PC.
(OS Windows XP. HP Compaq)

All is working well with Talktalk broadband.

However, I do have a small annoying problem.
During the final stages of boot up, the Netgear Smart Wizard page appears on the screen (settings page), and at the bottom of this page, there are three tab buttons to press. Apply – Cancel – Close. I click close and carry on surfing.

When I disable the Netgear feature in the Windows start up manager, the PC will not connect to ISP.

Is there any other way I can stop Netgear page from loading on the screen?
Or, is it just a case of ignoring the intrusion?

ambra, thsank you.

Clicking 'Apply' is same as Close. Page disappears, I click Firefox and surf.
But when I reboot, the Netgear page appears on the screen.

The Adapter is WG111 NOT WG511.

Sorry about that!
