I'm after a networked external hard drive as a remote backup for my Vista laptop and my Win2K laptop. Can anyone recommend one. I've seen

Western Digital (pcworld)
Maxtor (Maplin)
Buffalo (Amazon)

I dont want anything complicated, 250GB £150.

FAT32 is fine. Easy setup and reliabilty of connection are important.

Buffalo NAS Drives are Formatted to XFS.

From the Manual,

Note that FAT32 has a 2 gigabyte fi lesize limit
for individual fi les. If you choose FAT32 for your
fi le system, you will not be able to store single
fi les larger than 2 gigabytes on the drive. Use of
the XFS or EXT3 fi le systems is recommended.
Press Select Target Disk when done.

A. Yes, It's the 500Gig.

Q. "Forum editor, are they wireless?"

A. Yes, If it's connected to a Wireless Router (Mine is).

And I second what FE said in his Wed, 07/05/[email protected]:03 Post.

You won't be disappointed.
