I am planning to build a new pc using the new designer shuttle XPC's. The Shuttle SN41G2 model specification says the IDE interface is ATA 133. Here's the question.Could I buy an ATA 100 hard disk and use it in the SN41G2?Please can you help? I really need to find this out.
Yes, they are backward compatible.
As above it will simply run at the slightly slower ATA 100 speed.
