Bulldog B/B offer, is it OK?

  ruskle 14:09 04 Mar 2006

I keep getting circulars from Bulldog offering me upto 8meg B/B and telephone for £20.25 a month, guaranteed to stay at that price for EVER. No BT line rental and keep my own number, no hiden extras.

I feel as though there is a catch somewhere.

Anybody got Bulldog with that offer and is it OK?

I live out in the sticks and know that 1meg is my own maximum line speed so that would have to be satisfactory. The nice lady I spoke to on the phone "tried" to assure me it would be able to support 2 meg.

If you enter "bulldog" in the "search forum" box above, you'll find loads of links, mostly negative.

Thanks Gongozler,

I have read enough to make the decision, I shall stay with my Tiscali unlimited at 512, The line won't support much more and I have had no problems with them ever since I changed to Lineone from Compuserve years ago. It's only £14.99 a month and the BT rental is only 50p more than Bulldog.
