Building Audio PC - Advice Please???

Hey there,

im upgrading my P4 1.7GHz (after it crapped itself on the weekend - long overdue for an upgrade though), i'll stick to XP SP2 and Nuendo 3. Mainly recording and quite a bit of VST/VSTi work. Also sticking with my Midiman Delta 1010LT soundcard. Here's what I have been looking at:

-Intel Q9650 Q9650 Core 2 Quad CPU, 3 GHz, FSB 1333MHz, 2x6MB L2 Cache, Socket LGA775, 45nm, 95W
-Asus P5Q3 S775, P45, 4DDR3, 1800(OC)2PCIE2.0, RAID, GBLAN, CF4GPU, ATX
-Western Digital WD5000AADS Caviar Green 500GB INTELIPOWER 32MB SATA 3.0 Gb/s 3.5" (1 for audio, 1 for OS/software)
-ECS *N9400GT-512DZ-F GF9400GT, 512MB, 128bit, DDR2, PCIE2.0, HDTV, HDCP, DVI-I, FAN (Graphics Card)
-CoolerMaster RC-500-KKN1 SILEO 500 SILENT CASE W/ O PSU
-Silverstone ST75EF
750W Power Supply, Silent 135mmFan with 19dBA, 80%-85% efficiency, 4x 6pin PCI-E, 1x 8pin PCI-E, Silent 135mmFan with 19dBA
-Arctic Cooling Arctic Fan 12025L Case Fan: 120mm, ultra quiet

Basically, I'm more into using the stuff rather than building it, so my mate has helped me with selection and he'll put it all together for me, problem is, he's not into audio gear, so I'd really appreciate any feedback in regards to this system. The system obviously needs to be as quiet as possible, without spending my life savings! I realise I/O speed is the key, so fast, but quiet and reliable HDDs are needed.
Thanks heaps in advance guys!
