buffalo router needs resetting

  ajaxer1 22:06 02 Aug 2007

I have a Buffalo g54 router and modem
that worked fine for ages, recently though,
I have to reset it using its set up page every
time the power supply has been turned off.
As I turn off power each night, this is
becoming tiresome.
Any advice welcome
Many Thanks

I haven't had one apart, but I wonder if there is an internal battery that "maintains" user data.

If it's not under warranty, it might be worth taking the cover off and having a look.

I too have the same problem worked fine for about a year, now needs resetting nearly every time I use it after I have turned it off. Did you manage to solve the problem?

The status page shows it as connected, but it isn't, until you go through the reset connection page.
