Following a pc problem it became necessary to uninstall the drivers for our BT Voyager 50 modem, used to support AOL 8.0 Broadband. We have made several attempts to reinstall the driver from both the original disc and the latest download version without success. The symptoms are that the installation programme appears to run normally, however at no time is there a prompt to connect the modem. Plugging the modem in anyhow brings up the "add new hardware" wizard, which also has not been successful. AOL customer services have so far been unable to resolve the problem for us, despite running AOL's "doctor" programme, and a full uninstall. Their latest advice was to run Spybot and remove any items found, then try again. This has not been successful, and AOL are now suggesting that there is something wrong with our pc. Does anyone know what the problem is likely to be, and how to fix it? NB operating system is Windows ME, Pentium III with 384MB ram
