BT homehub problem since windows update

My Dell desktop 5150 (XP SP2) updated itself 2 days ago upon shutdown, and since then I can't connect to the web. I'm using a PCI netgear wireless card and wireless BT homehub. I can see the home hub (all lights are green and signal strength excellent) AND wireless card, but there is a yellow exclamation mark in system over the 'recieving' line going to I think the wireless card. any ideas please?

Iset ZA firewall to medium which got me on the web, then installed the ZA update. All ok now thanks.
