BT Home Hub 6 and connecting an all in one printer

  RISC OS user 15:04 02 Dec 2018

I have just purchased a BT Home Hub 6 from ebay and have tried to connect my HP All In One PSC 1350 printer to the USB port on the Hub, but without success. I have found some help on line but this is so old its for Windows Vista and 7 the the Hub is a BT Home Hub 2. There does not appear to be any help for Home Hub 6. Does anyone have the location of a more relevant video or can offer help via the Forum. I am using Windows 10. The USB port is functioning as I can access a USB drive via it.

Thank you for your reply, I will try it this afternoon. Just one question, you state the IP address as 192.168.253, is this unique to the printer as the router IP address is 192.168.1.254.

I have tried to install the printer as your instructions but only get "Printer busy or error" when I send the test page. I used the 192.168.1.253 IP address as you said and then changed this after I had removed the just installed printer, then re installed with IP Address of 192.168.1.254 still without success. I then looked at the Router Network via its address, 192.168.1.254 and on neither occasion was the printer shown as connected to the USB port. I then change and plugged in a memory stick which was recognised, but I have no idea how to read it! Do you know if my HP 1350 all in one printer will work with the BT Hub or does the USB port support printers?
