I can't believe it's so difficult! My niece has a load of stuff stored on the above, but has been told the service is being suspended at the end of May. She's tried to save the files, but has been told 'not compatible with W8'. She's given me her user name and password, but for the life of me, I can't find any way to save her files to a memory stick from their website.
Yes, looks simple - but when the file is clicked, there is no option to 'save as'. VERY frustrating (she has about 500 files, and there doesn't even seem to be a way to 'select all'. I think I can see wht BT are dumping it!
I think I found the problem, could be because your pc is not listed on the left, that is why you don't get the popup box to download/save. I found this thread on bt forum that may give you some pointers.
Thanks Lotvic - it appears I am not alone and that there is no solution at present. I'll keep an eye on those threads in case BT come up with a method. Incredible to just state the facility is closing, with no simple means of recovering everything that's stored there.
