In case this is of any use to anyone, BT broadband installation software comes with a system checker. If you don't have at least P2 or equivalent it wont let you continue with installation, even if your processor is "faster" than their recommended minimum. However there is a solution: After the auto- run, click exit on the first screen. Go into my computer. Right click on your CD Rom and select Search. Find file "setup 1" and double click. This by passes the compatibility test, and it works an absolute treat, cos I'm running it on a s*** machine with no problems
