BT Broadband

Am about to take the plunge into the land of BB with BT no frills service. With this u get a free modem supplied , but goin by the BT website it says that this modem is for a single PC connection.
I need to have 1 x PC ( cabled )& 1 X Laptop ( wireless ) on a network.
Does anyone know if this modem will still work when networked or is an alternate modem required??

Yes it will work, but if you want access with the main PC switched off you will need to buy a router

You could also buy another ADSL modem (29 squid from PCW)and use it with your lappy. I use this setup at modem in the living room and another in the office. Natch you can only use the broadband with one computer at a time.
