BSOD Clock Watchdog Timeout Error

  RobCharles1981 20:39 16 Mar 2019

Hi can anyone help me with this problem?

I've just very recently built a new system:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 MSI B450 Gaming Motherboard Corsair Vengence 16gig 3200 Memory

I've got everything in fine and installed Windows 10, but I'm experiencing random BSOD's with the error "Clock Watchdog Time Out Error"

I've so far updated the Bios, but googling comes up with memory problems?

Any help would be great!

Many thanks Rob

Run a memory test and send it back if it fails.

I ran a tool called Who Crashed and this is the result......

This can be caused by non-responding hardware or by a overheated CPU (thermal issue). The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

It turns out the Memory was the problem which Novatech replaced for me as all is now well.
