A friend who has BT Broadband connection via a USB ADSL Voyager modem finds that the connection keeps dropping, intermittently, with no set pattern. She has, under instruction from BT, uninstalled and re-installed the broadband software with no result. The latest advice from BT is uninstall all applications and then re-install one at a time !!!! Does anyone have any ideas please ?
I had a similar problem some time ago. Went on for weeks. Then my telephone started latching on to calls and wouldn't release when I hung up. I found it was caused by a micro filter and after I changed it, no more disconnections.
