Britannica Encyclopedia 2007

I got the Britannica Concise Encyclopedia 2007 Edition with my March 2007 mag. I want to instal it in a new computer, but do not have the 16 letter registration code which is required. How can I get it.

Code is usually in the magazine section describing the cover disk programmes.

I've got the DVD in question and tried it just now. After selecting Full Progs, and just below the word INSTALL theres a link back to PCA for registration which must be done before Installation and when I tried it, it basically said 'you're too late'.(can't remember the exact words.

However, try contacting the CD/DVD editor at PCA and asking for help. Hope you succeed.

I reread your post and you said ' on my new computer'. Does this mean you've got it installed on your old one, in which case you may be able to record it to CD or DVD and install it on your new PC that way.

Just tried this on mine and it worked. Where it asks for 16 digit code enter **************** an it hopefully wil install.

PS. To get the complete version it will cost you a further $800 US :-(

I am now about to uninstall mine as you can possibly get as much info from Google etc.

Did you sort that out?
