hi all
i am hopeing somebody can help me, my wife has a laptop running windows vista, and she is suffering from migrane and somebody has told me that you can dim the screen so it is not to bright any help would be most grateful

Depends on the laptop make, but on a Dell it's Fn plus the Up/Down arrows at the bottom right of the keyboard

there should be a function key on your keyboard, press this and then the corresponding key for brightness..there should be a plus and minus. The function keys on my laptop are fn and f7 together, to make the latop screen brighter, and fn and f8 to make it dimmer.

look in the power settings on mine if you select long life it dims the screen.

on the keyboard of your Laptop, should be a fn key and two key's with sun on them, press the fn key and one of the other key's at the same time
