If you have a "real" Norton SystemWorks/ Norton Internet Security, then they are bootable!!

The F-secure cd has a bootable linux distribution that lets you scan your pc without loading windows.

matty do not have norton as its for my mate would a trial version work if there is one ????

NO, it has to be a full version that was brought on a CD!!!

If you have one, then you can use your one... You don't register the program or anything lkike that... Nothing is copied to the computer, it just scans the system!!!
