boot up screen off -set

When my machine boots up the XP boot -up screen(the one that has the Windows flag and "Windows XP Professional") is off-set, in other words it has shifted about a quarter to the left of the screen and therefore has a quarter missing. Once it boots up my display is perfect. Not a great problem but mildly irritating! Have tried re-installing monitor driver( CTX PV520 )but no change. As always, any advice would be appreciated.

Try adjusting it during the boot up using the monitor controls on the front.

That's because the Windows drivers have not started when you first start your comp. you could try press pause key then use the monitor settings to correct the display then press enter see if that corrects it
