hi guys,a friends comp running windows 2000 hangs up at start up giving him the option toenter bios or press f1 to continue any ideas guys....thanx in advance guys nigey :-)
Hangs I think is the wrong word, its waiting for a command. Theres no msconfig in Win2K but has your friend downloaded any third party software? system cop etc?

Just an alternative to msconfig. Tell your friend to access the BIOS and hit F10 to default. If he/she has a T/P program then it needs looking at.
