On-board graphics is apparently the standard today on almost all motherboards. But, compared to a dedicated VGA card, is the output just as good or is it better to install a separate video card?
It depends on what you want to use the system for. In most cases a separate graphics card is worthwhile.
O board graphics Ok for normal use but if you want to play games at ant sort of reasonable resolution you need a decent graphics card.
If you have a PC already (with onboard graphics) and don't have any issues with the graphics performance there doesn't seem much point in upgrading.
