IrfanView converts anything to anything - almost and it's free click here

Windows Paint.

Open the .BMP file in MSpaint, and just click file>save as.

In the lower drop down menu, pick jpg, then click OK, and the image will be saved as a .JPG file, with the same name as before, but as a .JPG file.

The question was for a "batch" of them to be converted, not each one individually!!!

thanks for all the help, after a bit of messing with it, it turned out that Irvanview can change the lot all in one go, all 60 images.

PSP 9 demo also does batch conversion. Try it for fixing digi pics too.

Soz I stand corrected...

I have used Infran View many times in the past but haven't noticed that you could do this (can't say I need to change a batch of images in one go)
