blue tooth dongle

  Boy Zone 19:55 18 Mar 2007

I have a blue tooth dongle and trying to find it's drivers.
All I know is that in the device manager it is show as a ISSCBTA device.
I've done a google search but can't find the drivers for this,
Any idea

xp sp2 has built in drivers that have probably been installed as it is now attatched to the pc.
have a look at this guide
also if you want the specific driver for your dongle
i presume you havent got the software cd,so is there any brand name on it?

No there is no brand name, nor do I have and CD.
I did use it some months ago, but for some unknown reason it's not being recognised now. I need to transfer some photos from my mobile to my PC by am tomorrow. Your help would be appreciated

sorry Boy Zone,im at work right now
i can only log in now and again maybe someone can point you in the right direction, due to your time frame.
As per the link is there any info that could enable you to transfer the files.

one possible alternative is for some specific bluetooth software that could load drivers and use a simple interface to transfer the files.?
ive only used Blue soleil before but it has a 5mb restriction unless you purchase the software, theres probably free alternatives out there

another thought has your phone got a pc suite?
nokia do for their phones and is available to download.
Also i think in most cases install the software and reboot before attatching the dongle
good luck
