I am using an Epson Stylus 1160 which is aging but has worked very well until recently. I am now regularly getting a variable amount of horizontzal thin blue lines acrss the print. I have performed all the cheks, cleaning procedures and test pages which are OK. Can anyone help please?

I have the latest drivers and it is not horizontal banding it is actual blue stripes superimposed over the print which is itself fine.

Sue, when your printer worked OK, was that on normal printing?

If so, now try printing on the best quality. Does this remove the blue lines?

If so, you have nozzel block.

Thanks for the info. I will try the cleaning tips. I have to say that I have not used the printer quite so much of late so a blocked nozzel could well be a problem.
