Blocking undesirable stuff

I'm trying to block nudity and stuff of a sexual nature using Internet Options/Content Adviser. Unfortunately it seems to block every website I go to even tho I know they are safe. I've got the settings restricted to "limited". I've tried allowing the website but for example on a band's website it restricts every single message on the message board!
Does anyone know how I can avoid this? I don't really want to have to pay for a porn blocker but would like to restrict the stuff that can be downloaded.

K9 is excellent and free imho.

Takes 5 or 10 minutes to download and set up but once it's done you can forget about it.

Thanks for the reply.
I've just tried it and when it asked to reboot, it crashed my pc!! Would only let me open up in safe mode so I had to do a system restore and uninstall K9.
Any idea where it went wrong? I used the vista version. Is it only a 237kb file cos that's all it said?

File size is right. Always worked fine on mine. Don't even know it's there unless its protocol is breached. Sorry you've had problems. Not sure why tbh. I have it on XP and Vista machines with no problem.
