Hi, Whilst online i,m constantly getting a Popup box informing me ---- Application NT kernal & system has been blocked, (Filename, ntoskrnl.exe)I would appreciate any info/explanation if any one could enlighten me. Thanks
What firewall are you running??I use Sygate and i have this blocked with no ill effect.
Thanks for reply, I too am running Sygate & will now tick the popup box ie. (dont show again) Cheers.
ntoskrnl.exe is the windows boot screen.dont know why the firewall is telling you this though.
ntoskrnl.exe CONTAINS the WinXP loading screen but does much much more than that!!!According to click here Ntoskrnl.exe is....The core (also called the kernel) of the Windows XP Professional operating system. Code that runs as part of the kernel does so in privileged processor mode and has direct access to system data and hardware.Bit more than just a splash screen!!
no more messing about with boot screens for me then.thanks jester.
