Blank pages loaded in IE6

  3rdday 21:33 13 Jul 2003

Certain pages that I try to view in Internet Explorer are just coming up blank. I know the page is there and no error is returned - just a completely blank page. Any idea what's happening? The same thing happens with the same pages with Opera, so it's not just an IE thing. Most sites/pages work okay, it's just a few that don't.

Check your HOSTS file - see this thread to save me some typing click here

That didn't have any effect. The hosts file I had was interesting, though - tons of entries, with all of them having (that's loopback, isn't it?) for the address.

I've discovered that it was Norton Internet Security's Ad Blocker that was doing it. It seems to be a bit over-zealous with some sites, treating a lot of things as adverts that aren't.

Any chance of a tick (click problem resolved at the botton of the page)?
