Blank emails

I am receiving blank emails from 3 of my known addressees. I can read the content at the ISP before downloading but messages are blank when received in outlook express. I am using AVG antivirus, Zone alarm and Frontgate which I have disabled in turn but the messages still arrive with the content removed. Any clues?

"but the messages still arrive with the content removed."

There may not have been any content in the first place.

It may be that the senders have a virus themselves which is sending out spurious e-mails to all the addresses (including yours) in their address books.

Best let them know.

What ever you do, do not open them. Use the preview pane...

But bullseye 50 said he could read the content on his webmail, it would be interesting to click on an 'empty' message (that is one that is received blank), in OE and then go to file> properties>details>message source and see if the message content that was seen via webmail is still there

Thanks terryf - The message can be read by going to message source but why the blank page?

Dunno, repair OE? there have been links to repair OE but try 1. click on empty part of desktop and press F1 or 2. google for'repair oe'
