Best prog to take snapshots of programme?

  buel 20:38 15 Jul 2009

Hi, please can anyone advise me on a decent free programme that i can use to take snapshots of a programme that i use? (if you see what i mean?)

Is it a computer program or a video programme?

If the former, use the Prt Scr key on your keyboard for a required page and then use, for instance, Word in which to paste it (Ctrl + V).

This is an excellent one; click here

If you have Vista it's already supplied; click here

The Vista one appears far superior to Prt Scr...:-)

I've downloaded the Gladwin version.

Yes it's excellent. Just pre-ordered Windows 7e and hopefully it's retained in the OS.

Hi, I think you should seriously consider the one at my link above. Very easy to use indeed. Mostly I just use the Rectangle tool, take a snapshot and it automatically appears in your My Pictures with a name ScreenShot 00100, for instance.

FastStone Capture in action, notice the FastStone icon on the left ...
