Best flatbed scanner for less than £80.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a scanner for less than £80.

I've looked at canon lide35 and epson 2480.

the main purpose of scanner will be copying old pics onto pc.

i've tried canon in the past but pics have always looked grainy to me.

i need something thats fast and probably is enabled to scan at a high res.

i run Winxp.

I've just started to use a new scanner I got from Argos at £59.95 it's the Canon Canoscan 3200f. It came with a colour slide adapter and film negative adapter and I am very pleased with it. The transfer rate is good and the pictures look great on screen and they print out very well.
