As per lotvic's comments "Subscribe to PCAdvisor mag and get it free - Brilliant Windows 7 – worth £16"

I cancelled and then renewed my subscription to get this one.

I did the same research and bought "Windows 7 Inside Out" from Amazon.

I can recommend it. Don't buy the 'Step by Step' as the online reviews are not that good.

Thank you for your advise. I think Windows might be too much for me to follow. I need a more basic book as I am not a confidant person also my memory isn't what it once was.

Sorry I mean Brilliant Win 7. I need a book for beginners and intermediates, Why is it that Windows for Dummies have different front pages, is this important and would I be better to get the latest book say Jan 10 not Jan 09?
