Has anyone tried to install a Belkin USB parallel printer adapter with Windows XP. If so how did you do it. I just keep getting my Canon printer installed again and again but it will not work whatever I do. Tried using the adapter with ME and got a crash. Is it me ?

I left it a while because I don't know the answer to your question. However, if you're interested, I know a site that does a very cost effective PCI parallel port card.

Many thanks for your reply. I have a prallel port but the adapter promised rapid response and faster printing times from a USB. So far all it's given me is faster grief. Belkin say that it works with XP Pro but I'd like to see them do it !!

To be honest I don't think you'll notice much difference in normal use.
