Belkin adapter problem after malware elimination

Sounds like a TCP/IP and Winsock restore is required . Open a command prompt ( start/run and type in CMD , and press enter )

In the command box type in ...netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt , then press enter , then type in ...netsh winsock reset catalog , and press enter again . You will be asked to reboot , so type in exit , press enter , then type it in again and press enter , that will close the command prompt , then reboot and see if that has helped .
