Is it alright if i use Ni-MH batteries in a mp3 player when it says it uses alkaline or chargeable Lithium Batteries?

it will not harm it, but the player may not workquite as well as the voltages are different. The Ni-MH AA for example has a voltage of 1.2V and teh alkaline 1.5V. I've used Ni-MH in devices and not found a noticable performance difference yet.
