basic question about graphic card sizes

hello,i know this is a dumb question but im not too computer savy, i am looking around for a good graphics card. there are many to choose from nowdays, but i was wondering, are all or most graphics cards one size fits all or are some that have different sizes, cuz i have a couple of cards i might want to buy but im not sure if the card will fit into the motherboard of my pc, and my pc is about 2 years old.

Cards come in 3 types:

AGP - most popular

PCI - few enough around for lower spec machines

PCIExpress - latest type

Get Everest to ID your motherboard and then take a look at the manual from the manufacturer site; that will tell you what you can have. click here
