i have a small video clip 20mb that is in avi format i am using a programme to convert it to vcd my problem is when i convert it there is only the sound and not the video am i doing something wrong?
Not sure that I can help but: what software are you using for the conversion? When does the problem occur; after encoding or after writing; if the latter, have you successfully played VCD's on the current player?
my problem is when it is converted it then becomes an mpg video file if i click on it windows media player or windvd plays only sound and no video
No one can answer your problem unless they know what software you are using & have you burnt it to disc when the problem has occurred or has it manifested itself before then.
Ahead Nero, Pinnacle Studio 8 or?
Try Tools/options/ and make sure all file types are ticked.
