From another post tonight [sorry for hijacking it boybrown - 'Norton or AVG' ] I have learnt that AVG 7.0 now comes with a 'Trial period'. I'm using AVG 6 so it is [at the moment] free.

Are there plans to charge for the updates or to forcibly convert from 6 [& earlier] o the new, paid for verion?

Q. Can I upgrade to AVG 7 now?
A. Only if you want to purchase AVG 7, if you want the free upgrade then the upgrade program takes place between September and December 2003

accord - but that link is for the professional version - you've ALWAYS had to pay for that

easyrider66 - that is still saying free [?]

Is AVG the free, personal version &AVG7 the professional, paid for version then?

Paul
