Many thanks.

Many thanks. This update No. 255 came hot on the heels of the update this afternoon which took 44 minutes to download. This one down loaded 4x faster that 254 and only took about 5 minutes on dial up. Didn't expect another update so hot on the heels of the last one.

Again many thanks.

My AVG (the free version)downloads updates, I believe. Is there then any necessity for me to download myself?

PS: I keep seeing replies, like Barmoor's, which just see refresh. It's obviously some kind of computer language. What does it mean please? Is he putting on some more deodorant or is a polite way of saying he's going to the toilet?

Refresh and bump and other apparently meaningless phrases are just to move the thread to the top again so that it doesn't fall into oblivion.

About aoto update - some people don't have that set up and prefer to do it manually.
