So to have it on daily, you should put in the boz 1 day? So is AVG really good as Norton or below it?

yes you get to also cofigure the time also, by default it is set to 8am which is not much good if one goes to work every morning and doesn't access pc til evening or later in day.my only experiences of norton are that it can crawl all over ones machine and generally slow down performance, avg is an excellent stopper.

I always manually check for updates as well, as soon as I log on, takes seconds, and is no bind once you get used to doing it. You should always do it anyway, before running any email client.

a good idea as a lot can happen in 24 hrs.
