Avast to replace AVG due to virus

  Guy Fawkes 12:02 07 Feb 2010

hi, My windows firewall turned off by itself last night, so I switched it back on again and ran my AVG. I found 110 win 32/crypor virus's and removed 106. This left 4 on the processor that it could not remove.
I have now installed Avast and it is scanning at this moment. How do I switch off AVG, as I understand that only one antivirus is recommended. Or must I unistall AVG completely?

It's best to uninstall AVG 1st using it's removal tool or Ccleaner.

You must uninstall it completely - you can use the AVG removal tool
