Automatic update from Flash&Incredimail

Never ever noticed this before.
On start up yesterday I received an update for the latest flash update.
For all of the years that I have used my computer I have not had an update pop up from them before.
And today I received one from Incredimail saying that as there had been an update to my flash program that I would now need to update Incredimail.
None of those programs are on my start up list and yet still get notification of changes when I started my computer.
To cut the story short is this a W/7 thing as I never received this when using XP.

I have had the same/similar thing using XP - I allowed the Flash update, but not the Incredimail one. I use and prefer the old Incredimail version still. I resist all attempts to update to Incredimail 2 - another case of 'latest-is-not-best' IMHO.

Ok thanks for the info.
Thought that maybe I had caught some bug as quite a few Target Adobe and lots more targets Microsoft.
Thanks for the quick reply i will class as resolved as it seems to be harmless.
