Automatic "Save" in Works word processor?

  Trikie 19:25 14 Jan 2004

Frustration - Works encountered a problem . . . . you know the rest. 2 hours typing lost.

I know I should have saved it regularly - is there any facility in Works to do it automatically like my DV500 video editor does?

I think you need something like Word or WordPerfect for that, but if it does have the feature it should be in something like Options\files

Do a search for temp files - it may well be there somewhere.

Also look for a Backup folder in Works

I don't know the programme,if there are help files, try to type in "autosave". If it is there then follow the instructions. It might be an add-in facility that you need to load.

Thanks all. Works is a cut down (cheap?) version of Word and I can't find anything. Guess I'll just have to develop the good habit of saving every few minutes.
