Auto re-connect?

HI there, i have recently moved houe...blah blah blah, but when i use to download stuff from the internet, if it over ran my 2 hr cut off period, my PC would automatically re-connect and carry on the download (admitadly only from p2p sites)...now i have a new puta, same isp...i am running xp home (b4 was win me)...is there anything i can do to get this function back?

You could use a download manager like Fresh Download for example. click here

i was really after a way of getting the computer to go thru the dial up without me being present/in bed!!...thanks anyway!!

I used to use CiDial Dial-Up Network dialer By Aldensoft Software on the NTL 2hr connect and can recommend it.

I get the 2 hour cut off on the new pc, but unlike the old pc I do not know that this has happened....I would also like the pc to reconnect once the 2 hour cut off applies. Should I use the link that you gave? I only want the pc to reconnect whilst online

Yes I used it up until last week, when the connection broke it reconnected in about 30 seconds, I have also used CiDial as suggested by "The PC Doctor" above that works too.

There is quite a few out there.
