Audio Splitter/Joiner?

  rabbitrabbit 11:59 14 Feb 2005

Spent a while putting about 800 Cd's onto my hard drive. I've noticed that some have recorded incorrectly (ie. track 5 starts with about half a minute of track 4, followed by a gap, then the actual track 5). I need to split these and add them to the relevent tracks. Anyone know any good progrmas? thanks.

How did you go about it? It may be easier to re-record the CD to disk.

Theres a load of software enabling you to split and join mp3's but unfortunately I couldn't find any free ones! Heres a few you could try, some are more user friendly than others but they do the same job:

Diodorus Siculus

This would be the ideal solution. Except some of the CDs i have sold on!! oh well. it's only about 0.5% of them that gave me a problem. i'll have a looky at some of those programs listed thanks Valleys boy
