I'm currently running 128MB (PC133 SDRAM). I've got 512MB (PC2700 DDR) however it doesn't fit. There is only 1 gap in the pins where as my orignial RAM has 3. What should have I bought or will I be unable to run 512MB without chaning my motherboard also?? (My motherboard is AOpen AX34 (1 ISA, 4 PCI, 1 AGP, 1 AMR, 3 DIMM, Audio))

Cheers,
Phil

You should have got SD ram not DDR. Ring the supplier and explain that you bought the wrong ram. If you are on Win98 or WinME then you should not go over 512mb Ram

Sorry, your motherboard will only take sdram. click here

As you have found out. DDR ram is totally different and will not fit into your board.

Is there a chance of exchanging it for sdram?
