this is the floppy connector

  Quiller. 14:23 05 Jul 2008

Yes that is the floppy.

It's the other blue one that is in the corner, just below the power connecter.

Looks to me looking at the board like a IDE black one if not is it the blue one on the right on its edge. Hear it says IDE is a Header so looks like it the Blue one on the left click here

I meant on the right with floppy at bottom

  KPC 14:34 05 Jul 2008

apparently they only put one on the boards now, everything going sata

  Quiller. 14:36 05 Jul 2008

most boards now come with just one IDE slot that can take 2 devices. The rest are SATA :-(

  KPC 15:38 05 Jul 2008

yeah, so it was either sata dvd at £18 or a new hard drive at £32, so i went for the dvd rw because i have two hard drives anyway and wouldnt have been able to use the other one. Only one ide but they still put a floppy connector on this board, whats all that about.

You do know that you can buy adapters for PCI to IDE click here for about £10
