Menzie 12:36 11 Jan 2018 If the charging indicator is lit up on the laptop when plugged in then most likely the battery has gone bad. If the charging light isn't illuminated then there may be an issue with the power adapter or the laptop's socket. If not then the problem is the power jack in the laptop. My local repair charges about £75 to replace it. If it does work without the battery then the battery is most likely the problem.
