I built my computer from scratch and I used an asrock and I have had no problems whatsoever. Highly recommended!

Asrock is the budget end of Asus so thats a plus.

I've had a K7s8xe for about a year now and have found it to be good, and reliable

I have built 3 using as rock boards the first one has now been running for 9 months with no problems.

Rock boards as good as gold. I use one along with a second PC using an Asus A7N8X Deluxe. Both come out of the same stable and both are at extreem ends of the price range. Go for the Rock
