Ashampoo Winoptimiser any good?

What are these programms like?

Will they make my pc work better?

I have installed Ashampoo Winoptimizer from cover disks a couple of times and never been too happy with it. For mne it tries to do too much and I prefer to have more control over changes that I can make. I use CCleaner, RegSeeker, Spybot, AdAware etc.

Ashampoo WinOptimiser is not anti spyware or anything like that. It`s a programme designed to clean up untidy leftovers in your PC and in the words of the designer it gets rid of excess ballast and cleans up your Windows configuration.
I have AWO Platinum 2 and use it once a week to do it`s work and to be bluntly honest I don`t know if it really does anything. It gives a great report though.
I think cCleaner and Regscrub between them do a really good job.

I totally agree with chub_tor.Too much expected from a software app.Can do it yuourself manually and have more controll.
